High Performance Ropes

Dynamica Rope: Leading the Way in Specialized Vehicle, Agricultural, and Defence Industries Across Australia

At the forefront of performance and innovation, Dynamica Rope offers unrivalled solutions, meticulously crafted from Dyneema SK78 fibres, manufactured by DSM in Holland. Dyneema, renowned as one of the strongest fibres globally, imbues our rope with exceptional qualities, including unparalleled strength, lightweight construction, UV stability, and exemplary safety features. Moreover, it exhibits remarkable resistance to abrasion, tension fatigue, and bending fatigue, ensuring reliability in demanding environments.

Highlighted by its compact design, Dynamica Rope represents the epitome of Dyneema Fibre engineering, offering unparalleled performance in a condensed form factor.

Crafted with precision in Denmark utilizing cutting edge machinery, each Dynamica Rope undergoes rigorous manufacturing processes to uphold the highest standards of quality. A proprietary coating further enhances its durability, ensuring shape stability and increased resistance to abrasion, thereby prolonging its working life.

Furthermore, Dynamica Rope undergoes meticulous heat-setting under tension, guaranteeing maximum strength, durability, and uniformity, cementing its position as the premier choice for demanding applications.

Technical Data

Dynamica Rope utilizes Dyneema fiber SK78, manufactured by DSM in the Netherlands. Dyneema® stands as one of the most robust fibers globally, boasting exceptional attributes in strength, weight, UV stability (daylight exposure), safety, abrasion resistance, tension fatigue, and bending fatigue. As the most compact Dyneema rope available, Dynamica Rope is crafted in Denmark using cutting-edge machinery to ensure top-tier quality. Coated with a unique substance, it maintains shape stability and enhances abrasion resistance, prolonging its lifespan. The rope undergoes heat-setting under tension to maximize strength, durability, and uniformity.

Applications

  • 4WD winch replacement ropes
  • Fisheries
  • Bridles, Gilson lines, seam lines, front end meshes.
  • Lifting applications
  • Mooring
  • Towing

SAFETY

With minimal elongation (2-3% at break), Dyneema stores little energy, resulting in minimal backlash, even under significant loads, ensuring heightened safety.

UV STABILITY

Dyneema has a better stability to sunlight than other relevant fibres. After two years of constant exposure 80% of the strength is retained.

RESISTANCE TO CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES

Dyneema is resistant to chemical substances and will not be affected by oil acids or other substances.

ABRASION

Dyneema has an excellent abrasion resistance compared with other synthetic fibres (five times better than polyester). Special care has to be taken, however, to ensure that it moves over clean, non abrasive, non-rusty surfaces etc.
NB: Sharp edges etc. should be avoided.

BENDING – BENDING FATIGUE

Dyneema has good bending-bending properties. However it is recommended to bend over diameters of at least five times the diameter of the rope.

The Dyneema Fibre Properties

Strength

Dyneema is more than ten times stronger than steel per unit of weight. This means that a Dyneema rope has a slightly higher strength than a steel wire of the same dimension – but less than one tenth of the weight.

Tension – Tension Fatigue

Capable of withstanding numerous peak loads close to its breaking strength, Dyneema ensures extended lifespan and high safe-working loads. Compared to steel wire, which endures 6500 loads at 50% of its maximum breaking load, Dynamica Rope withstands 10 million cycles under the same load level.

Dynamica Rope is therefore an excellent material for a massive range of applications.
